Congratulations Professor Angela Makris for being awarded a grant from the Society of Obstetric Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (SOMANZ) for her REMOTE Study in Women’s Health.

Led by Professor Theepika Rajkumar, the REMOTE study will look into the safety and effectiveness of monitoring pregnant women’s blood pressure at home.

Professor Makris leads WHITU, the Women’s Health Initiative Translational Unit – a group of clinicians, midwives, scientists, and allied health professionals whose work improves women’s health through transdisciplinary medical research.
