As Executive Director, Research Services, Leighna provides strategic leadership for the Institute’s research services functions. With more than 20 years of experience in research management, governance and grants administration, she is focused on strengthening organisational capability through effective research systems, governance frameworks and support services that enable researchers to conduct high-quality research and maximise its impact.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from Princeton University, and a Master of Science in Health Policy and Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
