Karen commenced with Ingham Institute in August 2023 as Executive Director People and Culture.

Karen is a highly versatile, experienced People and Culture leader, with not-for-profit/for purpose, commercial, and multi-sector experience in Community Services, Education, Medical Research, Hospitality, Professional Services, Distribution and FMCG industries.

With a key focus on working with the team to build a positive place to work, Karen has a deep passion for building a positive values-based organisational culture, where together people can achieve strategic and operational outcomes and organisational performance. Before joining Ingham Institute, Karen worked in Community Services as Head of Human Resources and Volunteering for Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation.

She is graduate of the University of Western Sydney and holds a Master of Human Resources from Charles Sturt University.
