Bob Ingham AO was instrumental to the existence of the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research. It was Bob’s vision to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in south west Sydney.
In 1996, Bob together with his brother and Jack Ingham AO pledged their support to build and invest in a medical research facility in Liverpool.
Bob Ingham AO not only made significant financial support (in excess of $20M) to Ingham Institute over the years but also committed in-kind and invaluable support to ensure the Institute came to fruition.
Bob Ingham AO was instrumental to the Institute’s establishment, identity, reputation, impact and research outcomes, and is nominated as one our inaugural Ingham Institute Legends.
