Announcement of new Executive Director, Clinical Trials

The Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research is excited to announce the appointment of Nisha Berthon-Jones as incoming Executive Director, Clinical Trials, following an extensive recruitment process.

Nisha is a seasoned professional in clinical research with extensive experience in managing and improving research operations. Nisha is dedicated to identifying operational gaps and implementing strategic solutions to guide growth, quality and equitable healthcare.

Ingham Institute’s Professor Les Bokey says, “We are excited to welcome Nisha and have her play a critical role in delivering state of the art clinical trials across SWSLHD and Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research.

“Nisha brings a wealth of clinical trials experience, fully aligned to our vision for the future of Clinical Trials at Ingham Institute. Her leadership will help strengthen the delivery and impact of our mission to combine local purpose, national significance and global impact, by making and applying discoveries that translate to measurable improvements in health and healthcare, and radically improve the quality of life for our South Western Sydney community”

Nisha is looking forward to bringing her clinical trials experience from the Australasian Gastro-Intestinal Trials Group (AGITG), the Sydney Children’s Hospital and the Kriby Institute to the Ingham Institute to help continue the vision of inspiring health and transforming care.

Nisha will commence with the Ingham Institute on 20 January.
