Ingham Institute Macarthur

Ingham Institute Macarthur is a translational research hub designed to improve the health and wellbeing of one of NSW’s fastest-growing and most diverse regions.
Located within the Lang Walker AO Medical Research Building, the facility represents the culmination of collaboration between South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD), Western Sydney University, UNSW, and Ingham Institute to translate research rapidly into frontline practice.

Ingham Institute Macarthur combines research, clinical care, and engagement to improve the health of our community, in areas of greatest need. Our initial flagship programs focus on (i) Paediatrics and Child Wellbeing and (ii) Diabetes & Obesity. Additional priorities will be Indigenous Health, Addiction Medicine, and Mental Health.
