Ingham Institute Research Building

The Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research facility is uniquely positioned on the grounds of Liverpool Hospital, the largest tertiary referral and teaching hospital in the South West of Sydney.

Officially opened in October 2012, the Ingham Institute building boasts a five storey research facility built to accommodate the growing need of much needed health and medical research in NSW.

Comprising wet and dry areas of research space, the Institute accommodates over 250 of the nation’s top talent under the one roof.

Housing state of the art equipment and resources, the Ingham Institute encourages collaborations, the sharing of ideas and knowledge within our seven streams of research.

Made possible through generous ongoing donations from Founding Benefactor Mr Bob Ingham AO and consistent support from major donors such as Lady (Mary) Fairfax AC. OBE, the Institute's researchers conduct community-driven medical research to benefit all communities Australia-wide.

100% of all funds raised for the Ingham Institute support research programs across its five core streams.
