Welcome to the Wayne Phillips Paediatric and Neonatal scholarship page, a tribute to an extraordinary nurse who dedicated over 22 years of his life as a Paediatric Clinical Nurse Consultant, not only at Fairfield Hospital but across the state of NSW.

The nursing care he provided touched the lives of countless children and their families. Wayne was a shining example of compassion, dedication and excellence in paediatric nursing. His unwavering devotion to improving the lives of children left an indelible mark on the healthcare community.

Wayne was a passionate nursing leader who was committed to nursing professional development, education and advocacy. This scholarship aims to honour his legacy by supporting the next generation of nurses in providing financial support to deserving individuals who share Wayne’s passion for making a positive impact on young lives.
