
The Ingham Institute’s STEM Event aims to encourage students in Years 9-10 to explore the possibilities of pursuing higher education in the fields of research and Laboratory Animal Science.
The program is coordinated as a one day event which offers:
- An introduction to Laboratory Animal Science
- The opportunity to attend an industry trade exhibit
- Information about careers in Laboratory Animal Science
- Guided site tours and interactive activities
Students will also visit medical research facilities at the Ingham Institute and explore first-hand how technology advancements have already improved better healthcare and continue to create new innovative approaches.
Transport via bus to and from their school will be arranged for any students that require it, otherwise parents are welcome to drop off and collect students from the Campbelltown Catholic Club.
