The 4th Thomas Ashworth CTC & Liquid Biopsy Symposium 2017 to be held at the Australian National Maritime Museum (ANMM), Darling Harbour, Sydney, Australia.  This is a spectacular waterfront venue and we hope it will inspire both speakers and attendees alike to engage enthusiastically in the liquid biopsy discussion aimed at enriching our understanding of its clinical application and how it can provide insights into the metastatic process.

This year’s theme will focus on the challenges and opportunities involved in implementing diagnostic assays into clinical practice.  Topics to be covered include:

  • Advances in assay technology for liquid biopsy, including non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT)
  • Imaging developments across multiple scales (seeing is believing)
  • Monitoring and impact on minimal residual disease
  • Understanding circulating tumour cell (CTC) biology and metastasis

The program will also include an expert Masterclass on liquid biopsy based sequencing (NGS) and a young investigator breakout poster session.
