Professor Michael Barton OAM:

 Research Director

Michael Barton is the Professor of Radiation Oncology at the UNSW Australia, Research Director of the Collaboration for Cancer Outcomes Research and Evaluation at the Liverpool Hospital and Research Director for the South Western Sydney Local Area Health Network.

He has been involved in state, national and international strategic planning projects for cancer services and chairs the National Brain Tumour Guidelines Committee of the Australian Cancer Network. He was inaugural Secretary of the Facility of Radiation Oncology of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists and currently chairs the Post-Fellowship Education Committee.

In 2000 he received a Professional Excellence Award from the New South Wales Cancer Council for his work in professional education.

Associate Professor Greg Kaplan:

Associate Professor Greg Kaplan joined the Ingham Institute in 2010 from the Westmead Millennium Institute, one of the largest medical research facilities in Australia. He has a twelve year track record of management in leading biomedical research institutions. Greg has a PhD in Medical Physics and has a research background himself having previously conducted research in dosimetry for radiation oncology, and in radiation biology.
